Marine plastic pollution has become a global topic of discussion as it is a serious environmental crisis affecting our planet. Today, plastics are not only polluting the environment including oceans but posing serious threats to our health as well as animals, birds and other living creatures. Sri Lanka is no exception to this problem. In relation to this problem PILF is implementing a project to review the existing law and look at reforms that will help to better manage and reduce marine plastic waste in Sri Lanka.
